In addition to the Warehouse District, Downtown Latté is also located in Toledo’s Art Zone. The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo has designated this area for artists to live, work and create. Downtown Latté serves as a meeting place for local artists and offers them a place to display their works.

Artist Statement:
My vision as an artist is to reuse things such as jeans, zippers, newspapers and other materials that would otherwise be seen as junk and turn them into art. I like to take jeans and transform them into portraits. I’m currently taking passed loved ones jeans and creating memorial pieces with them. I also enjoy making trees with the zippers and buttons from denim. I enjoy watching people’s reactions when they realize it is recycled materials that are being used. I have a page on Facebook called paperDENIMart where I post current pieces of art and take custom orders.
